There is no minimum order. You can buy a single custom patch or a run of 50,000. Most suppliers force 50–500 piece minimums; we don’t, so you only pay for what you actually need.
Yes. Because there’s no minimum, you can order one patch to check quality, color, and sizing in person before committing to a larger order. A physical sample costs only the single-unit price (around $5) — far safer than approving a big run off a screen proof alone.
We keep your approved design file and thread/color specs on record. Reference your original order number or email info@custompatched.com and we reproduce it to the same spec — so a batch you order next year matches the one you ordered today.
Single patches start around $5, and bulk pricing drops the per-unit cost to under $1 on large runs. Price depends on size, patch type, backing, and quantity. There are no setup fees, digitizing fees, or hidden charges — the quote you approve is what you pay.
The one-time work of digitizing your artwork and setting up the machine is spread across more pieces, so the per-unit cost falls as quantity rises. That’s why a 500-piece run can cost under $1 each while a single piece is about $5.
No. Artwork digitizing, design proofs, and setup are all included free. There are no surprise invoices — the number on your approved quote is the number you pay.
Yes. If you’re ordering for resale or as a tax-exempt organization, mention it when you request your quote and provide your resale or exemption certificate, and we’ll structure the invoice accordingly. Resellers get wholesale-level per-unit pricing without wholesale minimums.
Yes. Send a logo, a photo, or even a rough sketch and our design team converts it into a patch-ready file for free. You’ll get a digital proof within 24 hours and we don’t start production until you approve it.
We accept JPG, PNG, PDF, AI, EPS, and SVG. Vector files (AI, EPS, SVG) or high-resolution images (300 DPI+) give the sharpest result, but we can also work from a clear low-res image or a hand drawing.
For embroidery, keep letters at least ~0.2″–0.25″ (about 5–6 mm) tall. Finer text works on woven or printed patches, which hold small detail better than stitched thread. If your logo has tiny text, we flag it in your proof and suggest the best patch type before production.
Yes. Send your Pantone/PMS codes and we match thread or ink as closely as the material allows. Embroidery matches to the nearest thread shade; printed and PVC patches can hit exact colors. Your proof shows the colors before anything is produced.
It depends on your artwork and use: embroidered for a classic textured look on uniforms and jackets; woven for fine detail and small text; PVC for waterproof, heavy-duty gear; chenille for varsity/letterman styles; leather for premium denim, hats, and heritage branding.
We offer iron-on (quick DIY apparel), sew-on (maximum durability on workwear), Velcro / hook-and-loop (interchangeable tactical and uniform patches), and adhesive (temporary use). We’ll recommend the right backing for your fabric and use case.
Your patch comes with the hook side attached. For the loop side (sewn onto your garment or gear), let us know and we can supply matching loop pieces so your patches attach cleanly out of the box.
It’s not recommended. Iron-on adhesive needs high, even heat and a flat, cotton-rich surface. Nylon, polyester, and waterproof-coated fabrics can scorch or won’t bond. For hats, bags, and technical fabrics, choose sew-on, Velcro, or a PVC patch with stitching instead.
Iron-on patches hold up to occasional washing, but repeated hot washes and tumble drying loosen the adhesive over time. For anything washed frequently — workwear, kids’ clothes, uniforms — sew the edges down or order sew-on backing for a permanent bond.
Turn the garment inside out, wash cold on a gentle cycle, and air dry when possible. Avoid ironing directly over the patch face. Embroidered and woven patches are the most wash-durable; PVC is fully waterproof.
Yes. PVC and woven patches with sew-on or Velcro backing are built for heavy field use — abrasion, weather, and repeated wear. These are the same constructions used by military, law enforcement, and first responders.
Standard production is 7–12 business days; rush production is 3–5 business days. Because we produce domestically in the USA, you skip the 4–6 week waits and customs delays of overseas suppliers.
We ship to all 50 states, so “near me” doesn’t limit you — your patches come to your door anywhere in the USA. For bulk orders we can consolidate shipping to one location or split it across multiple addresses.
Yes. Ask for rush production (3–5 business days) when you request your quote and tell us your in-hand date; we’ll confirm whether we can hit it before you order.
